Visiting the nuclear reactor "Maria"

20,00

On Friday, 24/04/20, we invite you to visit the only operating Polish nuclear reactor Maria in Świerk near Otwock. Visiting the reactor is limited in time (only on selected business days, and booking is not easy).

The reactor is named after Maria Skłodowska-Curie. Its construction began in June 1970 and was launched in December 1974 at the Institute for Nuclear Research (IBJ) in Otwock-Świerk near Warsaw. The visit to the reactor is preceded by a short introductory lecture about the operation and applications of nuclear reactors (in Polish).

⚠ Limit 30 places.

📅 Online sale lasts until April 10, 2020.

🚌 We will provide information on how to travel by public transport closer to the date of the event.

NOTE. The trip has a small risk. The Institute reserves the right to cancel the reservation in the event of forced repairs – we will inform you by e-mail about any returns. In the case of not enough participants, we reserve the right to cancel the trip due to fixed costs.

This event is part of the weekend BearSawa organized in Warsaw.
